Arkadius makes sculptures for bodies. Fabric twists and delineates the curve of a woman moving through space, transforming her skin into petals or wings of feathers or hair. His language is a complex one - full of unexpected collisions of materials, colours and surfaces, it manipulates and challenges how a piece of clothing can, and should, function. Theatrical playful and sensual, Arkadius' designs allude to a different realm, one where secrets and stories and dreams have inspired him to create clothes that, if you were lucky enough to wear them, could turn a dull day into something magical - a celebration of possibilities.
